Rebel Rebel was an exciting collaboration between Lisa Macario and myself. Together, we created a series of 10 prints inspired by David Bowie's iconic lightning bolt.
After I screen-printed the bolt, Lisa enhanced with exquisite gold machine embroidery. When we launched the prints through her store they sold out within a single day. Building on this success, we decided to evolve the design and create another limited series, this time with red embroidered writing and an overlapping vibrant pink lightning bolt. This print was equally successful and were gone in no time.
