Inspired by the captivating architecture of Tiruvannamalai, this collection effortlessly captures the essence of this enchanting Indian town. In a collaborative project with fellow textile students specialised in knitting, weaving, and printing, we created a colourful cohesive collection.
This was the first time, I had the opportunity to collaborate with designers from different fields. We used our individual expertise to create pieces that reflect our own creative styles whilst also tying together seamlessly, emphasising bold block colors and distinctive shapes.
To bring this vision to life, I employed a combination of hand painting and digital drawing, which allowed me to translate the vivid colours and shapes of Tiruvannamalai's architecture into stunning digital prints.
