This project was a great opportunity to combine my passion for hand drawing, digital illustration and embroidery. It is a delightful exploration of merging traditional and digital techniques to create a unique visual experience.
At the core of this project is the process of reimagining my hand-drawn designs through digital means. By embracing digital art, I have the freedom to enhance and manipulate my original drawings. This fusion of traditional and digital mediums allows for endless possibilities and opens doors to innovative artistic expressions which I love.
To further enhance the depth and intricacy of the digital print designs, I incorporate hand embroidery. This meticulous craft adds a tactile element to the artwork, introducing texture, dimension, and exquisite details. This was one of my first projects using embroidery and I loved learning new techniques, being able to work back into my designs and working with sequins, beading and accent pieces that work with the design.
