Hey pals! Another year over and idk about you but I’m shattered. This year I’ve worked a lot, sewn some pots and made some art! Now if you’re anything like me you are also shite at New Year’s resolutions, as an ADHD girlie setting myself a goal of not eating sugar, exercising more or learning a new language is never going to work and honestly I don’t know why we set ourselves such big and often not fun challenges that only lead to failure.
So for 2025 I decided to set myself a bingo list of resolutions, I checked it on and off through the year with very little pressure. This list had a mixture of work goals, personal goals and a few fun things thrown in to push me to do more nice stuff for myself! I’m going to recap a few wins and losses from my list now!

Sell a print
WIN! This might seem like an incredibly tiny goal but as a new small business getting sales is bloody hard! I am making the art, running my socials, maintaining my site and everything else that comes with a business whilst also working a full time job! So I’m very proud of selling a print in 2025! This will also be going on my 2026 bingo because we should all remember to celebrate the little wins!
Make an Instagram Reel a month
LOSS :( I kind of hate social media so this isn’t a huge shock. I understand the importance of having an online presence as a brand but it is so difficult constantly fighting a seemingly impossible battle against the ever changing Instagram algorithm. Making content is something I have to actively focus on and admittedly I’d rather just create art than try convince the Mr Zuckerberg’s robots that my post is hitting all the points making it good enough to be shown to the lovely people who choose to follow me. So I’ve chosen to give up on it all! I’m treating Instagram as a diary of my life and creative projects and hope the right people see it but I’m tired of overthinking posts and content and I don’t want to bring that energy into 2026!
Read 5 books
WIN! I am one of those people that reads a load on holidays lounging by a pool, remembers how much they love it but then gets home and doesn’t pick up another book for a year. This year I wanted to spend less time on my phone and read more books so I did (actually 7 and yes that is meant to be a brag) I have spent my tube journeys to and from work reading and have loved it, my mind feels better for it in so many ways. I even joined my local library which has been the best thing for being able to take a chance on different books without any cost! If I can say one thing for 2026 it’s support your local library!! Next year I’m upping my goal to 10 books so I’d love some recommendations in the comments!
Make an outfit from scratch
LOSS. This one I am sad about. I absolutely love sewing, it makes my brain so happy and I’d love to improve my sewing skills. I’ve made a bunch of new Planty Peepers who I adore but I’d love to make more clothes! My background is in fashion textiles and I’ve made a few items of clothing for myself before but I’d love to do more. This one is definitely staying on the list for 2026!
Get a new tattoo
WIN of course! Told you I threw some fun ones on there. Went to hard on this one and got 3, sorry Mam x
I’m writing my 2026 bingo as we speak so any suggestions please let me know in the comments! If you’d like to make your own bingo I’ve popped a free download of my template here for you to have a go too :)
I hope you have a fabulous 2026 lads xx
