I love being surrounded by plants, before I moved into the world of ecommerce, I worked in a plant shop selling everything from tiny succulents to lush bouquets to whole trees. Let’s just say I’m a certified plant addict. I love a challenging plant that tests my sanity but I know that’s not for everyone. Sometimes, you just want some low-maintenance greenery.
That’s where easy-care plants come in and to make them even more special, why not pair them with a Planty Peepers pot? These handmade, one-of-a-kind planters with their own names and personalities. Each one is lovingly crafted, from dyeing the fabrics to construction, using materials that would otherwise have been thrown away. They’re the perfect finishing touch for your plant collection.

1. Pothos
Pothos is the beautiful leafy superhero of indoor plants. They’re nearly impossible to kill, thrive in low light, and can trail beautifully from shelves or hangers. Quick tip: water when the soil feels dry and the leaves go slightly floppy.
2. Snake Plant (Sansevieria)
Snake plants are upright, stand out and unbelievably low-maintenance. They can handle a shadier spot, survive droughts (we both know you're going to forget to water it) and they even improve indoor air quality. Tip: allow the soil to dry completely between each watering, overwatering is the only real way to hurt these hardy lads.
3. ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)
ZZ plants are forgiving, slow-growing and perfect for darker corners. Their thick, waxy leaves store water, so missing a watering once in a while won’t hurt. Tip: rotate your plant every few weeks to encourage even growth and keep it looking glossy. This is my personal favourite!
4. Spider Plant
Spider plants are resilient, fast-growing and thrive in indirect light. Their little offshoots (spiderettes) are perfect for propagating new plants. You'll end up with more little beauties than you can handle!
5. Peace Lily
Ready to move up to a medium on the Nando's spicy scale? Meet the Peace Lily! These beauties bloom indoors and forgive occasional forgetfulness. They prefer medium light and weekly watering. Tip: wipe down the leaves now and then to prevent dust build-up and help the plant “breathe” better.
